1664's Good Ol' Cranks are 175mm long and feature heat treated 4130 chromoly arms with a heat treated hollow 19mm spindle. The cranks work great as a right hand drive or left hand drive. They're tough and ready to play hard. Mid bottom bracket is not included.

Over 10 years ago, S&M started making their own bars by hand in their Santa Ana, CA shop because they weren't pleased with the other offerings out there. For our Bluebird chain, Odyssey took the proven and reliable KMC 510-HX chain and added a permanently attached, factory installed half-link to one end. When the chain is trimmed to size you can easily decide whether or not to use the half-link. Original factory assembled pin joints are radically stronger than workshop assembled ones, so this is a huge benefit.

The Evolver Brake was introduced in 2000. It was called the Evolver because it was destined to change the way all U Brakes were designed. If you look at brakes before the Evolver and after, you can see that the name is applied perfectly. The Evo 2 is the natural progression of the original Evolver. It has seen constant refinement and new running changes to keep it as the standard in BMX braking. This design allows for a seemingly limitless amount of cable installation options, while remaining equally powerful as both a front OR rear wheel brake. New forge tooling was created that provides for a sleeker side profile. Arms are forged prior to machining for strength and durability. Contrary to the uneducated in metallurgy, a forged metal piece is of much higher strength than a piece machined from a block of material. - All of the cable set screws are now flat-tipped to prevent excess damage to the cable’s inner wire. Cable lugs are smaller and use a 10mm hex head. - Pre-lugged straddle cable is shorter. - Front cable adapter is smaller and made of aluminum. - Flush surfaces, with the lowest possible overall stack height. - Front or rear wheel use. - Redesigned brake pads. - Two sets of springs (hard and soft for custom tension/modulation). - Spring tension indicators (easy set up). - Newly designed straddle hanger.
One of the most important goals that Odyssey had when they sat down to work on new braking designs was to make the whole system easier to install (and remove) without sacrificing performance. They also wanted to be sure that every component would be very affordable too. The Ghost Pad addresses the hassles of brake pad installation by eliminating the traditional dome shaped washers used for toe-in. The pad improves stiffness by building the toe-in into the pad shape and utilizing a solid extruded aluminum frame at its core. The Ghost Pad’s assembly consists of simply lining it up with the rim and tightening down an M6 female bolt. Comes stock on the Springfield brake.
