Woodcock
Cycle Friday Night Road Rides, 2010, All are welcome.
When:
Friday evenings at 6
pm (weather permitting) from the shop at 433
St Mary's Road, arrive early
and mingle.
Our rides will be geared to the least experienced rider and we will gradually
increase our time in the saddle, distance and speed.
To Join a group ride you must:
1)
Be wearing a helmet
2)
Hold a valid MCA General Membership ($35), or Citizen/UCI/CCA licence. These
are available from the shop or online at www.mbcycling.ca
These conditions allow the bike Clubs and its
Members to be covered by Insurance should (heaven forbid) anything go awry.
3)
Be prepared to show your card (once received) or until you receive your card
you can show receipt of payment for each ride.
Woodcock Cycle Friday Road rides are free to anyone
with a MCA membership or Citizen/CCA/UCI licence. 6 pm every Friday from the shop (weather
permitting). Distance is generally 50 – 80 km 2 groups available Group 1, Avg
speed 25-30 km/h. Group 2) Avg speed 30 + km/h.
We will be splitting of the emails into 2 groups
shortly. The first group will consist of anyone who wishes to be on our email
list and continue to get periodic updates through our email News Letter.
The second group will consist of the those who
purchased a Woodcock Cycle Club Membership/Elite Club/Racing Team
Members/Woodcock Team MS Members. This is where the “perks” will be so you want
to be on this list! Our Club General Membership is $15 and our Elite
Membership is $100 if you have already have a MCA General Membership or
Citizen/UCI/CCA licence.

also use these rides to gear-up for the MS Ride to Gimli in August 28, 29. The

more team members to join us on the ride so log on join our MS Team. If you
just want to pledge the team or a team member us the same links.
One
year our MS Team split into 3 groups and finished the ride at the front, middle
and back of the group respectively so we have a speed for everyone. Give us a
