Deposits, Layaways & Holds
Resulting from the shipping delays and shortages of products currently being experienced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the following policies have been updated to ensure that all customers are accommodated in a manner that is fair to all. IN-STORE/CURBSIDE RETURNS
Returns on select items can be made in store, or curbside within 14 days of purchase.
Products will only be considered for return if they are undamaged and are accompanied by the original manufacturer packaging.
RETURNS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
- Sale items, child carriers, vehicle mounted accessories, washed clothing, next to skin items (includes padded cycling shorts), water bottles, gift cards and special order items.
7 Day Bike Satisfaction Guarantee:
We want you to love your bike and #newbikeday, but sometimes the bike you chose is not the dream ride you always wanted, therefore: We offer a 7 day exchange only for a bicycle of equal or greater value.
Some restrictions apply:
All equipment is expected to be returned to us in showroom condition.
Exchanges will be approved once we have been able to inspect the product.
Restocking fees may apply if there is any damage to the bicycle or accessories.
Exchanges may be refused outright if the bicycle is not in showroom condition.
Heavily used or excessively dirty bicycles will be refused for exchange.
Any bicycle boxed and shipped will be final sale.
Accessories mounted to the bicycle may be charged a restocking fee, or labor fee for removal and re-installation.
All original packaging and original receipt must accompany all items being exchanged.
All Bicycles Sold with a signed Pre-Purchase Agreement before October 2nd, will be eligible for a refund 7 days after taking possession of the bicycle. All exclusions apply.
Holiday returns:
Items purchased as gifts for the holiday season can be returned if accompanied by the original gift receipt and in original packaging up to 14 days after December 25th. No returns or exchanges will be completed on boxing day. All other return stipulations (see above) apply to holiday purchases. If only the gift receipt is provided, an exchange or in-store credit will be the form of return.
Exclusions apply to the following:
- All Bicycles - Exchange only, 7 days after Christmas
- Smart Trainers - Exchange only, unopened, 7 days after Christmas
- Garmin, Wahoo GPS computers - Exchange only, 7 days after Christmas
- Thule, Kuat, Yakima racks, boxes, etc, - Exchange only, unopened, 7 days after Christmas
- Skis and Ski Packages - Exchange only, unused, 7 days after Christmas
All standard return policies apply.
All exchanges are for items of equal or greater value.
All SALE ITEMS are EXCHANGE ONLY, regardless of gift receipt.
Pre-Purchase Bicycles & Deposits on Pre-Season Orders
Deposits placed on one bicycle Pre-Purchased from a Pre-Season order are fully refundable or exchangeable at any time between the date the deposit was taken until the date the bicycle is ready for pickup.
If the bicycle is paid for in full and taken home, the standard 7-day exchange policy would apply.
Pre-purchased items that have arrived at our store and have a deposit down must be picked up within 14 days for the deposit to qualify for a full refund. Items that remain in store for longer than 14 days are considered under our layaway policy and the deposit will be non-refundable. If the item is not picked up within 60 days of the original arrival date, it will return to store inventory and the deposit will not be refunded.
Pre-Purchased Bicycles: Not Pre-Season Orders
All deposits placed on bicycles that are not from our 2021/2022 Pre-Season order are non-refundable. This would qualify as a Layaway and would be subject to the layaway stipulations stated below.
Holds
No products, including bicycles can be placed on hold. A 20% deposit can be placed which will be considered under our Layaway policy stated below. Alternatively, the bike can be purchased and exchanged within 7 days, as per our exchange policy. Payment must be made in-store, or arranged through our online orders with a personalized payment link which can take up to 3 business days to process.
Layaways
Layaways can be made on in-store bikes only with a 20% non-refundable deposit. This allows one to secure an item in-store for up to 60 days from the original purchase date, or until the total is paid off. If the item is not paid off by the end of the 60 day period, the item will return to store stock, and the deposit will not be refunded.
