The original Exploro that started the performance revolution, equally at home on gravel, dirt & tarmac. Explore gravel roads and the toughest terrain without giving up any road speed with 3T’s award-winning range of aero gravel bikes. Long before gravel riding became popular, we decided we wanted to ride faster & farther on any terrain. The resulting 3T Exploro was the first to combine road speed and mountain toughness, so you can race through the smooth sections and crush the rough stuff. Total freedom at last! The Exploro PRO/TEAM bikes all use the latest generation of the original Exploro frame. It’s a great choice for a high-end, highly-versatile gravel bike at an affordable price. Gravel riding is all about tire choice and the 3T Exploro models fit the widest possible tires, up to 61mm.But each model is optimized for a different purpose. The Exploro PRO/TEAM is a Jack of all trades, the RACEMAX is an all-out speed machine while the ULTRA can conquer the toughest terrain faster than any other gravel bike. 13-speed Campagnolo drivetrain for perfect gearing on- and off-road at the best price-quality ratio.

Choose the Exploro RaceMax if you crave road bike speed on- and off-road. Long before gravel riding became popular, we decided we wanted to ride faster & farther on any terrain. The resulting 3T Exploro was the first to combine road speed and mountain toughness, so you can race through the smooth sections and crush the rough stuff. Total freedom at last! The Exploro RACEMAX is the absolute fastest gravel bike possible, aero optimized for for 35-42mm WAM (Width As Measured) tires but for particularly tough rides or long trips it even fits up to 61mm tires. The Exploro PRO/TEAM is a Jack of all trades, the RACEMAX is an all-out speed machine while the ULTRA can conquer the toughest terrain faster than any other gravel bike. Force AXS semi-WIDE 2x12 for the ultimate performance. Just like your road bike, only everywhere.

The Ultra is our most extreme bike, starting out the design process with 55-61mm wide tires. We then designed the whole aero package around those to keep the on-road speed high. If you ride on less extreme terrain, you can also fit 700c tires up to 45mm WAM (With As Measured) on the Ultra. If you’re looking for a bike that is even further optimized for speed with narrower tires (35-42mm WAM), then the Exploro RaceMax is your perfect match. The Ultra was our most difficult aerodynamic challenge to date. Start with massive 55-61mm tires and then make the bike aero. There’s nothing we can do about the tires, they’re big and the knobs don’t help. What we can do is take the airflow mess that comes off the front wheel and try to catch and redirect it. That’s why you will see the 60mm wide downtube placed closely behind the front wheel, going even wider as it gets closer to the BB. Blending this into the headtube with an off-center aero profile along with loads of other tricks gives you a bike that feels so much faster than your brain can compute. Because let’s be honest, when you see those tires, your brain gets ready for that slow, boring paved performance of a mountain bike. But thanks to your riding position, the aerodynamics, the BB stiffness and the narrow Q-factor, the Ultra actually feels 100% like a road bike when you want to go fast. Even when muddy. The RaceMax frameset is is fastest with 35-42mm WAM tires. That’s when its top speed rivals the best road bikes out there. So whether you’re on asphalt, easy or tougher gravel, you can be sure you have the fastest setup. But depending on where you ride and how fast you ride, you may want an even bigger tire for ultimate traction and control. Good news: 90% of the aerodynamic advantage of the RaceMax frameset still works with tires up to 61mm WAM. In a way, the Ultra is the reverse. It is aerodynamically optimized for 55-61mm WAM tires thanks to its wider downtube near the front tire. This extra width better redirects the air coming off a bigger front tire. If you prefer a smaller tire, you can run a 700c tire up to a 46mm WAM. But as you go to a smaller tire, the Racemax becomes the faster choice again. In addition, the Ultra combines its aero seattube with a round seatpost so you can fit a standard, dropper or suspension post. The Exploro PRO/TEAM is a Jack of all trades, the RACEMAX is an all-out speed machine while the ULTRA can conquer the toughest terrain faster than any other gravel bike.

Why suffer for speed? Strada is the fastest bike, designed around bigger road tires. Minimalist seatstays & curved seattube give even more comfort & better aerodynamics. From the start, our goal for the Strada was the best aerodynamics AND comfort. Because without comfort, you won’t be able to maintain your aero position. While push the limits of aerodynamics and comfort in every detail, the New Strada has two clearly distinct zones: Speed zone: the front half of the bike, with its ultra-deep yet narrow headtube, wrap-around downtube and bladed fork. Comfort zone: the curved seattube, slender seatstays and long exposed seatpost provide the ultimate comfort while also helping aerodynamics Tires provide more compliance than any other part of the bike. Wider tires are better at reducing shocks from cracks, curbs, cobbles and potholes, They even have lower rolling resistance, because their shorter contact patch requires less bending by the casing. In addition, wider tires reduce fatigue caused by high-frequency road buzz. But aerodynamics are also important on such rides, and the Strada remains the first aero bike engineered around wider tires (just like the Discus wheel range is engineered specifically around wider tires). Finally you can be fast and comfortable all day, every day, with one and the same bike. As co-founder of Cervélo, our Head of Design Gerard Vroomen loves aerodynamics. Not just the theory, but real world aerodynamics. So we test at 20mph (32kmh) and 30mph (48kmh), we test with bottles and other “difficult parts”, we sometimes even test dirty and muddy bikes. But while the aero details of the Strada range stand out, he is proudest that it has started a worldwide trend towards more tire clearance on aero bikes. Comfort & speed. Running cables internally can be nice and potentially reduce aero drag, but what is the point if you end up with a very wide and bulky headtube with oversized bearings to house the cables? Our goal was to hide the cables but keep the headtube narrow and keeping the same narrow bearings of the original Strada. Quite the puzzle but the result is stunning. In the front view you will see our bearings are still narrow and the headtube even thins down in-between them. In the side view, you’ll see the headtube is deeper and with a full aero “nose”, taking full advantage of the new UCI rules. To top it off, the cables hide inside the 3T Apto Integrale, using the original minimalist Apto shape but with cable guidance. Beauty meets functionality as this gives you full adjustability to find the perfect fit. Because aerodynamics are meaningless if you cannot stay comfortably in your aero position. 3T Integrale is compatible with SRAM and Shimano electronic drivetrains, both 2x and 1x.
