*Exclusions include but are not limited to Tiem Slipstreams, Bicycles, E-Bikes, Tricycles, Cargo Boxes, Wahoo Kickr Bike, Skis, Child Trailers, Wheels, and Car Racks.

Certain orders are too large, fragile, and/or heavy to be shipped by our standard methods.

Certain rural locations may require additional shipping fees.

Special Order items may incur additional shipping fees.

All orders shipping to Quebec, and larger value purchases must be completed with Paypal.

Please email and we’ll let you know if your order requires extra freight.

Please note that if you have requested your order be shipped to an address other than your billing address, we will cancel your order.

Return Policy

In-Store Returns

Returns on select items can be made in store within 14 days of purchase. 

Products will only be considered for return if they are undamaged and are accompanied by the original manufacturer packaging. 

Returns Will Not Be Considered for the Following Items:

Special Order items, Closeout items, Sale items, child carriers, vehicle mounted accessories, washed clothing, next to skin items (includes padded cycling shorts), water bottles, and gift cards.

RIDE-ON 7 Day Bike Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to love your bike and #newbikeday, but sometimes the bike you chose is not the dream ride you always wanted, therefore: We offer a 7 day exchange only for a bicycle of equal or greater value.* Visit out RIDE-ON Guarantee page here!

Some restrictions apply:

  1. All equipment is expected to be returned to us in showroom condition.
  2. Exchanges will be approved once we have been able to inspect the product.
  3. Restocking fees may apply if there is any damage to the bicycle or accessories.
  4. Exchanges may be refused outright if the bicycle is not in showroom condition. 
  5. Heavily used or excessively dirty bicycles will be refused for exchange. 
  6. Any bicycle boxed and shipped will be final sale. 
  7. Accessories mounted to the bicycle may be charged a restocking fee, or labor fee for removal and re-installation. 
  8. All original packaging and original receipt must accompany all items being exchanged.

*Excludes all closeout/sale, special order, or demo/used/consignment bikes.

Shipped Online Orders Returns

The return of all online orders must be approved prior to sending back an order. Items must be returned to Woodcock Cycle Works within 30 days of receiving the order. Products will only be considered for return if they are undamaged and are accompanied by the original manufacturer packaging. Returns are not accepted on the following items: Special Order items, Closeout items, Sale items, child carriers, vehicle mounted accessories, washed clothing, next to skin items (includes padded cycling shorts), water bottles, and gift cards.

Preparing your package for return:

Returns must be packaged the same way as the original shipment was packaged. Packing must be sufficient and prevent any damage to the item(s) shipped. 

Customer is responsible for return shipping fees. 


Returns are refunded in the original form of payment once we have received your return in good order.

Winter Holiday Returns

Items purchased as gifts for the holiday season can be returned if accompanied by the original or gift receipt and in original packaging up to 7 days after December 25th. No returns or exchanges will be completed on boxing day. All other return stipulations (see above) apply to holiday purchases. If only the gift receipt is provided, an exchange or in-store credit will be the form of return.

All SALE ITEMS are EXCHANGE ONLY, regardless of gift receipt.

Warranty Policy

In-Store Warranty

All warranties are completed by, and subject to manufacturer review.

Once an item has been sent for review we cannot guarantee a timeframe for turnaround.

Online Order Warranty

Woodcock Cycle Works is not responsible for shipping fees related to warranty claims.

In the event that an item cannot be shipped back, we can sometimes work with authorized retailers local to you to help the warranty process.

Pre-Purchase Bicycles & Deposits

A minimum of 20% of the final invoice amount, including taxes, is required. 

Completion of our Pre-Purchase Agreement form is required.

Deposits placed on one bicycle Pre-Purchased on an out of stock, or Pre-Season order are fully refundable or exchangeable at any time between the date the deposit was taken until the date the bicycle is ready for pickup. 

Deposits placed on one bicycle Pre-Purchased on a special order (not typically stocked in-store) are non-refundable, and subject to review for the possibility of exchanges.

This applies to a single Pre-Purchased bicycle. Every additional deposit placed on a bicycle will be non-refundable.

If the bicycle is paid for in full and taken home, our RIDE-ON Guarantee and 7-Day exchange policy would apply.

Pre-purchased items that have arrived at our store and have a deposit down must be picked up within 14 days for the deposit to qualify for a full refund. Items that remain in store for longer than 14 days are considered under our layaway policy and the deposit will be non-refundable. If the item is not picked up within 60 days of the original arrival date, it will return to store inventory and the deposit will not be refunded.

While we do our best to estimate delivery times based on manufacturer and vendor estimates and information, we cannot guarantee delivery times.

Special Order Items

Price Protection Promise

Building value for our customers means not only having the best service and products, but the best prices too.

We work hard to keep our prices competitive and save you money. If you find a lower price at any local competitor or Canadian online retailer with a brick and mortar storefront we’ll match it, before or after you buy.

If you’re not sure if a product is eligible for our Price Protection Promise, just ask. We’ll always try our best to give you our most competitive price possible.

We’ll price match:

  • In-stock products of the same brand, model year, size and colour, in new condition from an authorized dealer, priced in Canadian dollars.
  • Previously purchased items within 30 days of transaction.

To be eligible you must provide:

  • Proof of a lower advertised price in the form of a printed quote, valid advertisement, product page URL (web address) or online shopping cart.
  • Your original receipt and original method of payment if price-matching a product within 30 days of purchase.

We don’t price match:

  • Online third party retailers like eBay, Amazon, or Chain Reaction Cycles.
  • Rebates, coupons, limited quantity items, promotions, or combined offers like BOGO.
  • Special Order items.
  • Miss-prints or advertising errors.

We perform price-matches online or in-store. For online price-matches reach out to us at with the required information listed above. While our goal is to maintain current and accurate pricing in our online catalog, there is the potential for mistakes including inaccurate product availability and pricing. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding should any prices or information be incorrect. All online orders are subject to processing and approval; payment at checkout is simply for authorization purposes. If an error in an order exists, Woodcock Cycle Works is not responsible and we will notify the customer of the error with potential options for resolution.


Woodcock Cycle Works is a service first shop. Our goal is to get you riding and to keep you riding, regardless of the equipment that you own. Our service department has decades of collective experience and our stockpile of parts enables us to complete almost any repair. To keep things running smoothly year round, we have a few policies.

  • Repairs with an estimated cost of $200 or more require a $50 deposit.
  • A buffer of $20 is assumed for all repairs.
  • Full payment of parts and labour is required prior to equipment being returned.
  • Equipment left for longer than 60 days after recorded notification will be assumed to have been abandoned.
  • A $3/day storage fee will be applied to repairs of equipment left more than 14 days following repair completion notification.
  • Repaired equipment can only be obtained with original paper work or photo identification.
  • Equipment must arrive 24 to 48 hours prior to scheduled appointment in order to ensure next day completion.

We offer service on E-bikes and brands that we have access to software and and replacement parts for. These brands include Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, Brose/Specialized, Mahle, Fazua, TQ, and Suntour. If you do not see your electric motor brand here, please contact us.



No products, including bicycles can be placed on hold. A 20% deposit can be placed which will be considered under our Layaway policy stated below. Alternatively, the bike can be purchased and exchanged within 7 days, as per our exchange policy. Payment must be made in-store, or arranged through our online orders with a personalized payment link which can take up to 3 business days to process.


Layaways can be made on in-store bikes only with a 20% non-refundable deposit. This allows one to secure an item in-store for up to 60 days from the original purchase date, or until the total is paid off. If the item is not paid off by the end of the 60 day period, the item will return to store stock, and the deposit will not be refunded.

Special Orders

Items that we do not have available in-store are often available from one of our suppliers. Full deposit is required on all special order items and returns will not be accepted. Special orders will be held for a maximum of 2 weeks following the product arrival at Woodcock Cycle Works. Unscheduled orders may be subject to a shipping fee.

Ski Return/Exchange Program

You can exchange or return unused ski items up to 14 days after sale. They cannot be used or show any signs of damage. Any ski showing signs of damage or use will be refused for exchange or return. 

Vehicle Mounted Accessories

All vehicle mounted accessories are final sale once mounted to the vehicle. We will only accept returns on vehicle mounted accessories if they are returned within 14 days in unopened packages, uninstalled and with all original packaging materials. This applies to vehicle racks, roof racks, rooftop storage, rooftop tents, tailgate pads and any other vehicle mounted accessories.


Purchases made through financing are non-refundable, but eligible for exchanges of products of equal or greater value within 7 days of purchase with original receipt. All refunds must be conducted in person, and all other return policies apply. Proper identification is required.
