Haro Downtown 16
$399.99
Great for young riders just getting the hang of things, this bike has a smaller frame and 16" wheel size to accommodate smaller riders. BMX/Freestyle is deeply rooted in the DNA of our brand and that will never change. Introducing the worlds very first freestyle specific frame and fork to an emerging sport is something that we are very proud of, nearly as much as being the leading brand in freestyle 35 years later. Today BMX is not only a sport, it’s a lifestyle. It’s a choice you make to be a part of, a way you choose to express yourself, and it’s the way you find your freedom. Haro builds a broad range of BMX freestyle bikes that help you do just that, from Pro builds all the way down to slightly more affordable yet fully capable machines. We have always had the best professional riders on our bikes which makes for a great research and development team. The result? See for yourself!
Garneau F-16
$199.99 - $229.99
The Garneau F-16 bike offers a few more features for the rider than its little brothers and comes in two colors. Just like the F-12 and the F-14, the F-16 has a high-tensile steel frame, a single speed, and training wheels that can be removed if needed. In addition, the F-16 has both a coaster brake that engages by pressing the pedals backwards, as well as an additional hand brake that starts to prepare your rider for the next level. Using hand brakes to stop will be a whole new skill for your little rider to learn, but having the coaster brake there for backup is always a great option to have. Highly durable and very low maintenance, the F-16 is a great bike for the kid in your life. Kids' bike sizes are based on the child's height, and 16" bikes are typically for kids between the ages of 3-7 or 38"-48" tall.
